Horses with kidney failure can experience problems with elevated magnesium levels in the blood. IMMUNO is not a therapy but can be supportive; consult a veterinarian for a proper diagnosis first.

Some horses may develop an allergic reaction to nettle, known as "Nettle rash." These are small bumps under the coat. This usually disappears within 24 hours. If this occurs, discontinue feeding IMMUNO and switch to BASIC. No further side effects are known, although individual sensitivity to a specific ingredient may always occur.

In the first weeks, a so-called detoxification reaction can occur: accumulated toxins leave the body, which can make the horse less fit and itchy.

Avoid simultaneous oral administration of macrolides due to the mycotoxin binding agent (certain antibiotics that are only prescribed as a fourth choice for infections in foals).
