Nutrients

Dosage

The standard bag contains 6.3 kg, which is sufficient for over 2 months for one horse. This costs €0.65 a day for an adult horse.

The dosages provided below are estimates. For the best results, always consult a specialist for a nutritional analysis.

Horse (600kg)

For no to light work: 100 grams For normal to heavy work or if roughage quality is poor: 120 grams An alternative is to mix 50-60% of the daily dose with 1 to 1.5 kg of concentrates

Pony (400kg)

For no to light work: 75 grams For normal to heavy work or if roughage quality is poor: 85 grams An alternative is to mix 50-60% of the daily dose with 1 to 1.5 kg of concentrates.

This can be combined with the BASIC or COMFORT options and/or additional energy and protein as needed. If the horse has been on a roughage-only diet for an extended time, the dosage can be doubled for 10/12 days to stimulate a healthy intestinal flora.
