Equilin develops orthomolecular horse food without fillers or unnecessary sugars. Very high-quality and complete products, but they do taste slightly different from the sweet feed that horses are used to. After a period of getting used to the taste, most horses eat the products without any problems.
To get a horse used to healthy food, it is important that you first hide a small amount (max. 1/5 measuring cup) in, for example, slop or other “tasty” food. Take plenty of time to let your horse get used to it and then increase the amount. After the taste habit has been established, the “tasty” food can be phased out again.
