The love and empathy for the horse quickly led Grand Prix rider Bastiaan de Recht onto the path of harmonious and thoughtful riding, based on knowledge and insight. In 2005 Bastiaan obtained his title of 'Maestro' in classical riding. He trained with Richard Hinrichs, Marcus Nowotony (SRS), Florian Bacher (SRS), Tineke Bartels and Laurens van Lieren, among others.
A real specialist
In addition to his Maestro diploma, Bastiaan has also obtained the ORUN diploma for Competitive Dressage Instructor Level 4 and he is a specialist in hand work. He rides both baroque horses and sport horses in the highest classes of competitive sport. Bastiaan is currently competing several horses in the Grand Prix.
The Recht Dressage Center was founded by riding master, rehabilitation trainer and Grand Prix rider Bastiaan de Recht & Certified Equine Doctor and Chiropractor Amber Koppen. Their knowledge is based on the latest insights from biomechanics and on years of experience with thousands of 'problem horses', with both physical and behavioral problems.
